This book perpetuates the false notions about essential oils. Essential oils are not necessary for a healthful life, they do not cure anything, and all natural does not mean non-toxic. Depending on the source essential oils can cause serious health problems such as allergic reactions. Citrus type oils can increase your photosensitivity so you burn more easily in the sun (this can happen if you are sprayed with lime juice). Rattlesnake venom is all natural but no one goes around wanting to get bitten by rattlesnakes. Cannot recommend this child's book at all.
