Pros: The collar arrived more quickly than expected, which was really great as my girl has really worn out her other collar and it is separating. The collar is attractive and the personalization matched what was expected (Heads up on the color in case it matters a great deal to you. It is not lavender as it appears on my screen, nor is it a true pink, but sort of a mauve color.) Cons: The measurement is a concern and because it is personalized, the collar is not returnable. My pup's neck measures 17", so I ordered the collar shown as meant for that size neck (Medium). Unfortunately, I have to hope the collar stretches as she wears it. I got it on her but it seems snug, and because it is rigid, I actually feel a bit bad about her wearing it. Ideally the collar would fasten and have enough length left to slide under the ring, but hers doesn't. Bottomline: While I'll have to update later on wear/durability and whether the collar stretched and softened a bit, so might be able to increase star count, for right now I'm a bit on the fence. This was a test run for me, because this dog is the most in need of a new collar and needs a strong one. If this works out, my plan was to get a collar for at least six more pups. However, now I don't know what to do as far as sizing. I see that one reviewer commented that the large had too much extra length, but if my dog's neck had been even 1" larger (and still within the sizing guide I ordered), this collar wouldn't have even fastened. So, as of June 4th, the collar is busted. Just broke and fell off her neck. :-( So back to a nylon collar without her name and my number.
