Titled, “Protective Clean” But no “Clean” C2, model brush head inside? Must pay more for head
I bought the Sonicare model 5300. First, I could not register this on Phillips website for the extended warranty? Why? The model number would not show up on the pulldown menu on Phillips website. There was no Sonicare 5300 listed with Model No. 6423/34. There was a 6423/85 listed and was the closest but it was not the same toothbrush item. That was problem number one. Second, I got this toothbrush to clean plaque, first and foremost with gum care and whitening coming in 2nd and 3rd. Here, the box came with 3 attachable brushes. However there were 2 Whitening heads (W) and 1 Gum Care Head (G2) but no head for CLEAN was included (C2). The manual talked about it but it was not present. Hence, when using the Cleaning Mode, I had no CLEAN C2 head to use and have to purchase it separately. Also, you are supposed to register and get a “free brush head,” but the coupon code FREEBRUSHHEAD did not work. All that it did was attempt to register me for auto payment/auto-delivery brush heads on the assumption I will need new brush heads to attach every 3 months or 90 days. Sorry, No thanks. Misleading advertising? I think so. I just bought your brush for 100 bucks. Can’t you give me a LOUSY Cleaning head? Philips? Are these unreasonable expectations? I am disappointed. Philips steps over dollars for nickels.
