I normally do not write negative reviews but I am so angry because I have used this product and all of the extra work it has caused me that I wanted to warn others. I have approximately 400 square feet of brownish tile with brown grout that I have spent at least 40 hours (and I am still not finished) trying to remove this crap from my floors. I have used Mop and Glow maybe 20 times over the last 3 years. I noticed scratches on the tile and figured out that the tile wasn't damaged, it was the wax that was scratched. Yes, the floor shined but the scratches were very obvious and the brown grout was obviously coated by the wax which left it various shades of gray which drove me crazy to look at. Next, the process of removing the wax began. I tried various wax strippers and any suggestion on the internet for removal. All to no avail. I finally had the idea to use PAINT STRIPPER. That did the job. Unbelievable! Every night, after work, I spend about 3 hours removing the mop and glow from the tile with the stripper and fine steel wool and scrubbing it out of the grout with a thin brush. After that process is done, I have to again scrub the grout with an acid cleaner to make sure that residue is gone because I now have to paint the grout due to the scrubbing of it. So yes, your floor will shine, the wax will scratch, water spots, if not immediately wiped up will leave marks but don’t fool yourself into thinking your floor is clean just because it shines. Trust me when I tell you your floor will not be clean. I wish I could post the picture of before and after. The difference is amazing and embarrassing as I am a clean freak and did not think my floor was dirty. All of this wasted time and money just because I used Mop and Glow. Don’t do it!!!! This product doesn't deserve even 1 star!
