I'm extremely disappointed in this mat, especially since it got such good reviews! I have a stand up desk at work and my feet hurt the day I used this mat more than any other day. It's a solid rubber material that gives quite a bit but doesn't quite contour to your step like the foam or gel ones; it doesn't leave a footprint even for a second. That means it's good and sturdy, but not quite as supportive. It also "popped up" in the center and got an air bubble underneath it when not in use. I will give it credit that it's the best mat at not sliding around. It didn't move an inch all day, while other mats tend to drift a little. I've also tried the AmazonBasics mat and a GelPro Elite. The AmazonBasics mat is really good, but the GelPro Elite is my favorite by far. This Kangaroo mat is my least favorite. It may be better suited for a garage or utility work station for short time periods, but not a standing desk.
