OK first of I love Amazon . In no way do I fault them for this. I received this surge protector plug it in went about my business of hooking up sewer lines , water . Went back in our RV and was ingulfed in smoke . Smoke was coming out of our recptecals and out of a computer surge protector which was on fire. Our electric fireplace control board fried up . Went back outside to check the pedestal were the surge protector was plug in I decided to unplug and try without this plug in and everything work fine except fireplace. So much for this surge protector taking on a surge. I have contacted the company but have heard nothing back yet. Had the RV park tech check voltage at the pedestal and checked out fine They said no one has had a problem with this . So he thinks the surge protector was faulty. I have read other reviews and they all sound good , this is why we purchased this model. Just hoping this does not happen to anyone else. Also hoping to hear from manufacture what could of caused this.
