I have used this chair for my daily office work for 6 months and have loved it. But now the gas cylinder won't keep the seat up where I adjusted it. I can set the seat height and it will slowly over the course of a few hours go back down to being too low (probably moving 3 inches down). I am nowhere near the weight limit of 280 pounds. Now I will have to buy a better chair. Update: The seller reached out to me and offered to send a replacement gas cylinder so that I could change my review. They sent the replacement (the chair has a 1 year warranty so that was fair) and it now works fine. Oddly, they sent me a different brand of gas cylinder than the original - not sure why. Anyway, I do like the chair again, I just wish I did not have to go through the hassle of getting a replacement cylinder and I do hope the new cylinder lasts a long time. Update 2: Based on them replacing the gas cylinder, per the warranty, I changed to review up to 3 stars. Now they have reached out to me and offered that they would send me a lumbar pillow if I raised the rating to 5 stars. I really resent them trying to manipulate customer ratings by trying to buy a 5 star review, when all they did was replace a faulty product under the warranty. I am therefore lowering my rating for this unscrupulous activity. Now you know the full story. Good chair for me in general but first the hassle with a bad cylinder and now they are trying to buy a better review. Not the kind of business I want to support.
