Layers of cheesecloth gauze, NOT MUSLIN.
Sent it back as soon as it came, the "fabric" is so loosely woven it's sure to snag immediately. I have been sewing since 1988. This is cheesecloth gauze, the kind you throw away after pressing to a wound, or straining liquids through. The space between the weave and the weft is huge. I was expecting muslin gauze or ghwazi cloth, which is light like cotton lawn, slightly bubbled in texture - the stuff they make "peasant" blouses out of. I would never make a blanket out of this!!!
