I purchased roughly $400 of this from Amazon, in three separate orders. The first batch came and worked perfect. The second and third batches were unacceptable. The mating edges of the extrusions were out of tolerance, so when you had the pieces slid together and you began to maneuver the assembly into the landscaping area, the pieces would come apart. I checked the critical dimensions between the pieces and they were way off. Essentially, you didn't even need to slide the pieces together, as the pieces couldn't stay interlocked. Why didn't I send back or contact the manufacturer? -Only other option is plastic crap from Brick/Mortar stores -I have limited time to complete my lanscaping projects. Can’t afford to screw around with returns. -The pieces were already covered in mulch, dirt. I ended up using self-tapping screws to ensure the pieces mated correctly and wouldn't come apart. Aside from the fit disaster, the mill aluminum was nicely packaged. The spikes they send with the aluminum are awesome - long and made of heavy steel. I only wish Dimex had better quality control over their extrusion tolerances.
