Partial "fix" for loose charger plug. Micro-USB charger plug is fatal design flaw.
Charger plug became loose within days and eventually was so loose it was almost impossible to charge. This appears to be a fatal design defect with the choice of this tiny and fragile micro-USB connector port. Is this planned obsolescence by Amazon? A more robust charging port design would have cost no more. Why choose a seriously flawed "standard" micro-USB plug when it clearly is not suitable for this application.
You might be able to temporarily fix the loose charger plug yourself. You'll need a tiny tool like a jeweler's flat blade screwdriver. It is easy to destroy the plug entirely as it is so tiny and delicate, so work carefully and gently. With very thin blade tip, push the "top" portion of the metal plug slightly away from the internal plastic that supports it. This will deform the thin metal enough to give it a tighter fit. It will also "push" things in the right direction to make the contacts slide together more firmly rather than less firmly. If you deform the "bottom" portion of the metal plug, outwards you will make things worse because that will cause the contacts to slide less firmly or even not make contact at all.
I've included a photo of the "fixed" plug, which also shows which side is the "top" of the plug. The top is narrower than the bottom.Incredibly inexpensive for what you get, but has fatal flaw. The charging plug starts failing within the first few times using it. It gets loose and falls out and fails to make contact so it becomes harder and harder to charge the thing. On top of that, the battery life is not that great. This appears to be a design problem. The charging plug and socket are so tiny and made of such delicate parts that it seems inevitable that they will fail under almost all use conditions in a short amount of time. It would not have cost more to have used a more robust plug and socket, so I wonder whether this design choice was an intentional way for Amazon to make a "throw-away" product, to generate more sales. If any product tester had actually used the product for more than a couple days this design defect would have been obvious.
The other problem is with the micro SD card. After just a month or so it became increasingly unreliable and now, after 3 months, it has failed completely. About 5% of reviewers of this card and other Amazon recommended cards seem to have had the same experience. Such a failure rate is unacceptable, especially when the product was recommended by Amazon for use with this particular tablet.
Other than these two very serious problems and the annoying ads every time you open the tablet, it has worked well.
