Until the other day, I would have written a raving review for the Nutribullet. I used it, on average, 5 days a week and I loved it. However, for the last month or so (I bought it December 2017) the unit has sounded very loud when blending the ingredients. My to my surprise, I discovered that the base was leaking oil from where the blades are located. I first thought it was just coming out of the bottom but then learned the oil was leaking into the cup as well, tainting my smoothies! As I have had the product for less than one year, I contacted customer service to have the piece replaced. Unfortunately, I was told that due to my purchase coming from a "third-party vendor" they would not honor the warranty. I bought this through on Amazon. How does one know if the place where the order is full-filled is an authorized dealer? Perhaps I should have know this but I did not. So now I'm out a Nutribullet unless I chose to pay for the replacement blades, plus S&H. Based on this experience, I will not be purchasing anything Nutribullet again.
