DANGEROUS FOOD POISONING SAFETY BACTERIA PROBLEM! The Stack and Snap's riveted blades ALLOWS PUREED FOOD to ENTER the HOLLOW AREAS in BETWEEN the TOP and BOTTOM BLADE! Every time the blade is turned on chopped or pureed food enters the chambers and is UNABLE to be cleaned! The food rots until the next time the blade is used...spewing bacteria filled rotten puree into everything! I pureed tomatoes, garlic, vegetables, mushrooms and chopped Italian sausage. I thoroughly cleaned the unit with plenty of soap in scalding hot water making sure the entire unit including the blade and all the safety locking mechanism areas were spotless. I started to use the stack and snap two weeks later and noticed a foul stench...everything was spotlessly clean...I narrowed it down to the blade and rewashed it. I noticed the blade dripping and I shook the blade and ROTTEN puree came out. I soaked it in bleach, washed it in HOT water and it still stinks of rot. I found many people complaining of rotten smell on Amazon and other web reviews. It can produce Botulism and other bacteria that will make you sick. If anyone has this blade, don't use it! Check your blade for smell, (soak it in warm water for a few minutes)...and comment! THIS BLADE NEEDS TO BE RECALLED!
