What I liked and why I bought this was it was ALL METAL. I've had many plastic and partially plastic spray heads and they all break-down in the sun and ultimately fail/break. BUT they were all adjustable by rotating a head thru strong to gentle showers OR had a back knob that would adjust the water force from light to strong. When I saw this spray nozzle it was all metal and while it didn't have a rotating head it had a back knob so I thought turning it would adjust the spray force. When it arrived I screwed it on my hose and turned it on! It nearly washed out my tomato plant! No problem I thought I ill simply turn the front to fan out the water - that worked and I'll simply turn the back knob to reduce the force! BOY was I surprised to find out this knurled rear knob does NOTHING!! SO if you want a nozzle that is robust and is always on FULL BLAST this is the one for you. It's well made and will last a lifetime. BUT if you want one that adjusts from a strong to gentle shower ...pass on it!
