The quality of the cards from Hay House has gone down and from what I can gather from doing research, they are phasing out the gilding of cards. There are many complaints on other sites about the quality so it isn't just an Amazon thing. These cards are not gilded and are not cut well. They are thin and feel flimsy. They are super glossy and just feel all wrong. I cannot recommend this new issue of cards after having used an older, gilded and well made deck. If you want the better made, gilded deck, perhaps try to find a used one. I will be returning the one I just purchased.
