I carried the same Petzl for 8 years on active duty in the Marines. It stood up all through my deployments from Afghanistan to Thailand and S Korea. It worked through amphibious landings and in torrential downpour. THIS replacement for my lost headlamp is NOT waterproof - not even water resistant. What happened Petzl?!!
