This has been one of my biggest disappointments in products. Being allergic to nearly all animals, my husband got me a betta. My flowing red friend and I interacted and I quite enjoyed him so when we had the opportunity to improve his living conditions and get a couple more fish, we jumped at it. To say that I am saddened by the result is an understatement. The tank design does exactly what you would expect. It is a lovely waterfall and the minor filter system keeps the water relatively clean. The fish, however, have a very tough time. The waterfall pressure is too much for them so they only get a small portion of the tank as useful swimming space. The food either gets caught in the swirl of water from the falls or swept into the next tank. And worst of all, the waterfall trapped my red friend by the tail as it tried to suck him into the next tank. There are so many other options available for bettas.. Please, please choose any of them!
