I bought this to upgrade from a single-basket Instant Air Fryer, primarily because I thought it would fun to have the two baskets. It wasn't! Everything takes longer to cook in this, even if using only a single basket. It doesn't have a preheat phase, so the food starts to cook as it heats up to temperature, affecting the overall quality of the finished food (you wouldn't stay baking anything in a standard oven without preheating it for this very reason). There is no notification to turn food during the cycle. It does not crisp/brown the food like my older air fried and food is not cooked well. The marketing makes it seem as if you can save time cooking two things in parallel, *but* it took me 50% *more time* to cook two steaks in parallel as it did when I did them back-to-back in my older air fryer, with poor quality of the finished steaks. I'm a pretty experienced cook and used my older air fryer extensively with *excellent results* every time! This Ninja just can't do the job. Furthermore, none of the air fryer recipes available on the web will work well in this because there's no way to know how to convert cooking times to the Ninja. Overall, this is a sham, so don't waste your money on it!!!! Unless you cook just the recipes they provide, you won't be happy (maybe not even worth their recipes). I'm returning this!
