Disappointing, didn't finish...
I am going to go out on a limb here, since many readers enjoyed this book. I found all the characters unpleasant and unsympathetic. I also found the constant use of the name Jesus as a swear word offensive, and I don't consider myself a conservative person. If one character used it, I would have thought the author was making a point about that character's ignorance. However, it was used by all the characters -criminals, senators, the press, men, women, etc., consistently throughout the first half of this book - I didn't read any further. Unnecessary and offensive.
