The sherpa lining is superb, it's reasonably warm (it's 22F today, and wasn't cold) and dries relatively quickly considering the amount of cotton in the mix. However, the sleeve lining is awful. It provides very little insulation, and isn't flexible enough to allow the cuffs to stay in place when your elbows are bent. Had Carhartt decided to keep the sherpa lining through the sleeves and make them a little less constricting, I would have fallen in love with this hoodie. Hopefully this helps others decide if this is right for them.
