These bags did not meet the silicone pinch test. As I stretched parts of each bag the stretched area became white which indicates fillers were used/not pure silicone. I ordered silicone bags from several different sellers this week and all were made in China and none passed the purity test. I’m returning them all in favor of looking for European or US brands that are pure platinum silicone and not a cheaper and less safe product. I suggest we all make sure silicone products meet the pinch/stretch test and don’t be fooled by FDA Approved rating or the list of what is not in the product (BPA free etc.) because what they don’t tell you is that their product might meet FDA standards but not truly the highest standards for silicone which should be pure platinum silicone with no fillers. I suggest we stop buying silicone from China and in fact I have noticed other products from China that seem to have clever advertising: not quite lying but indeed leaving out important information or emphasizing one truth that steals the focus away from what else consumers should be asking. Don’t buy silicone from China , instead but European grade silicone: LFGB pure platinum silicone.
