Confused about Ingredients
I am a big believer in natural approaches to health issues. While looking for a natural product to help my son with his mild ADD I stumbled upon this listing. Regardless of the reviews (which I read intently) I always must know the ingredients. I was shocked that the first ingredient listed is barium carbonate which is a poison. It is used in rat poison among its other known uses. Further down in the list of ingredients is Nux Vomica also known as poison nut or strychnine. As a pharmacist, I know that low doses of these compounds can accumulate in the body with repeated exposures. In this instance I cannot be convinced that this "natural" product is a safer choice for a child or anyone than the dangerous prescription medications commonly used to treat ADD.
