This was a classic case of the trailer being better than the actual film. The concept is incredible, thought provoking and timely. The problem was the execution. The creep factor never got creepy enough, and the concept of "all eyes" on you never felt fully realized. I was expecting the movie to go down the tech thriller path at one point, but it never did. The tension never felt real enough throughout the movie, and the supporting cast wasn't three dimensional enough to really understand or care about. The ending was a complete let down. This movie frustrated me because there was a TON of potential. Tom Hanks is great as a sort of creepy Steve Jobs, but once again the script never fully commits to letting him flex his acting muscles. It's a bummer because I've been looking forward to this.
