I contacted NYT customer support to confirm the recent decision not to support Kindles. I was was 6th in the queue and it took 47 minutes to connect to a NYT rep. Yes, the only way to read the NYT on the Kindle is to use the browser and setting up your own bookmark, etc. I simply decided to cancel the NYT. If the Washington Post can support millions and millions of Kindles, the NYT should be able to support Kindles also.
