I did not think these things actually happened. I bought this battery as a back up for my Samsung galaxy 3 because the battery does not last long. I had this battery in my phone, which was sitting on my nightstand charging, as it does every night. Fortunately we were awake and in the room because it literally burst from my phone into a ball of flames, landing on the floor. Since were able to put it out quickly, our bed did not go up in flames but would have in another 10 seconds. If I had left the phone downstairs, our house could've burned down, it happened that quick. The thought is really terrifying, especially with my kids in the house. To be clear, the phone was NOT overheated and gave no signs of a problem. It literally burst from the phone in it's case, which somehow is completely undamaged, into a ball of flames. No idea how that was possible as we didn't see it happen, just saw the light from the flames. The phone, case and back cover were scattered but not melted or damaged. I have attached pictures as proof. Very scary! Please do not buy this battery!!!
