★☆☆☆☆
Repetitive, overuse of the "F" word. (Small spoiler)
To begin with, it had a interesting plot line and I expected to enjoy it. But then the heroine, Meredith, began to annoy me with her constant gasping for breath, panic attacks and groping at her underwear for support. It was unrealistic to try to believe she would ignore a man who attracted her so strongly simply because he was a journalist. What really bothered me was the reference to the death where it was mentioned over and over that "she died from a heart murmur". The heart murmur alone will not kill you. A heart murmur is simply a sound the doctor hears that is caused by an underlying heart problem that may possibly kill a person, but kept being referred to as the primary cause of death--even by the medical examiner who should have found the underlying heart problem during the autopsy. The author should have done better research. Predictable and disappointing.
