The 1 star is because I feel deceived-I believe the COMPANY IS LYING ABOUT THE MATERIALS USED. Though I love the price, the color and the look, the description says it is a "...12 inch solid wood platform bed." The legs are indeed solid wood and they look great. The sides that are the frame, are in NO WAY solid wood. You can feel the edges of whatever materials was used-it completely feels like plastic. See the attached photo of the bottom of one of the sides. You can see the line where the material was pressed together. It is outright If the company can provide proof otherwise, I will gladly remove my review and write another one. Amazon, I think you should forbid them from selling until they tell the truth.
