I ordered this candle as a little add on to my husband's bday gift as he loves anything related to books/reading. It was packaged very nicely, perfect for gift giving. The problem is that: A) it doesn't have the smell of old books (musty & sweet) B) has almost zero throw. You can hardly smell it even when you're up close. C) although the candle burns down fairly evenly, the wick burns in a strange way. The flame gets very tall and flickers a lot which quite unsafe. I burn a ton of candles, have something going almost every day, from inexpensive brands to more high end options so I have to say other than the cute label this candle is not worth your money. It fulfilled its purpose of a cute novelty and now I'm just burning it to burn it.
