Amazon branded sandwich bag should be better. Not best but not "cheap". Just look at Kirkland from Costco, it represents Costco well, or staterbros own products, which are great quality deals even better than name brands. These bags are slightly smaller (about 1/8 of an inch narrower), thinner, and the cheap-looking package gives us the consumers a bad impression from the very start. I think Amazon would do better by using a simple brown paper box (might cost more than this ugly print box). There is more of a plastic smell than the leading brand. The packaging continues to disappoint once you open it and find bags that are just stuffed inside, not neatly folded or rolled like Ziplock's. It really seems Amazon wants you to feel you have an inferior product from beginning to end. The functional aspect seems ok, even with the thinner material, the seal seems to hold up. Price-wise it's ok, these cost 7 add on while Ziplock's 10 delivered, so it is 3 dollars cheaper or 40% or so, and even better to staterbros 400 ok for 10. I think the direction Amazon took with its branded products is wrong, and Amazon should be at par in quality with the brand names and if needed, sell more bulk in order to offset the cost differential.
