2015: I am 5'4, 120 pounds; the small fits perfectly. These are very thin leggings; I wouldn't totally say they are "see-through", although if I bend enough, I notice in certain spots I can see some skin underneath. They are great for running errands, shopping, exercising, etc. They hug curves & are made of quality fabric. I will be hand washing them since they are so thin. Nice to see a "Made in USA" product! (Watch who you buy them from; make sure it's a seller "fulfilled by Amazon". Some reviewers got knock-offs made in Asia that were lacking in quality control!) UPDATE 4/6/17: I was looking to buy more, but the pricing has been crazy lately. I used to always buy these for $14. They've been showing up as $28 the past weeks. No way! They're worth $14, but no more than that! Will buy more when the sellers set a fair price! UPDATE 11/2018: I am so mad! Recent pairs I've ordered have been made in China, not USA, and the fit is not right (too loose & baggy, cheap elastic waist). I contacted the sellers to complain, and it seems American Apparel has been bought out by an awful company called "Gildan Activewear", who not only is making this item now in Honduras & China, but has re-designed the leggings into an awful new product. Please, if you were a die-hard fan of this product yrs back, go to Gildan's webpage (google it) and tell them to make this in America (it's called American Apparel, not Chinese Apparel) and tell them to bring the good old fit back. I did! So mad what they did to this product which used to fit like a second skin.
