Having an Amazon store card seems very easy and convenient. If I think of something that I want to buy from Amazon I log into my account, search it, find it, buy it, Amazon's delivery is always quick I loved it! I just HATE GE Capital/Synchrony bank. They go 0 to 100 real quick or should I say 200 to 0. I had a payment due on my card set it up to find out of my secondary checking account and on that day the funds were it available I noticed my error and immediately transferred the funds to my account and called. The customer service person I spoke with stated that if it returned again my account would close immediately I said it won't return again he said that everything would be fine. The payment went through. Three days later I got a letter saying my account was closed. Even though I had just been told that it would only happen if it returned again. I totally own up to the fact that I messed up initially but I caught it right away and corrected it and was told it would be fine. When banks make mistakes it's cool we let them. I just don't like that there was no courtesy no grace given and I was told one thing but another thing happened. This had a negative impact on my credit score because of a minor oversight which was corrected immediately. Poor customer service. I simply don't recommend this card.
