I want to love this coffee maker, but there’s a few drawbacks that lead me to not recommend it: - you have to descale it every two weeks. If not you run the risk of voiding the warranty. - it stopped working correctly. After about 6 months, it only brewed about 2 cups under the “bloom” stage, then stopped. Continually tried to brew but same issue kept happening. - the white paint on the ratio six scuffs very easily, something that should not happen for a $350 coffee maker What makes matters worse, I followed up several times with Ratio Six customer support and never heard back. I also left a similar review on their site and it was removed.
