You can buy the same results for 1/3 the cost
Phosphate removers, including this one, get rid of phosphates in the pool which makes it easier for the chlorine to kill algae. I've rated this particular product at one star because it is so diluted that you have to use a lot to get the job done. Amazon has another product called Naturally Blue Pro (concentrate) that comes in a quart for $38.99 or $1.22 per ounce. Blue Pro treats a phosphate level of 600 ppb with 2 oz or a total cost of $2.44. This Phosfree bottle has 101.5 oz for $24.99 or $.25 per oz. But it requires 32 oz to treat 10,000 gallons reading a 600 ppb for a total cost of $7.88! This product costs three times as much, in actual use, as the concentrated product. Either product will get rid of the phosphates but this dilution gives you a great big bottle of mostly water. I'm a retired engineer and have no connection in any way to any pool product company.
