I had seven packages of seeds ready to go this morning I placed them on the mat with newspapers down first, and newspapers on top, and left for work. When I came back my seeds were all COOKED!! Temperature is it 144 and still rising!! The box says 10° above ambient temperature. Unless I’m in the middle of the Sahara desert I don’t think so!! Further more they want to sell you their thermostat, why not just package it all together and save people the hassle. But from other reviews I hear the thermostat doesn’t work any better than the mat.
