This is NOT at all any different from any other average flat iron on the market. And trust me, I have tried at least 4 different brands/types. In my opinion the keratin infused thing is a scam. I don't think the plates are any better or make any difference or help keep your hair healthier or shiny. In fact, my hair actually had a slight burnt smell to it after I used it to straighten. What was worse for me was that I like to use my flat irons for both straightening but also for curling or adding wave. This was the WORST flat iron I've ever used for curling/wave! It was so awkward and actually burned my hand because the other side of the plates get very hot. No hot glove is included at all. And, the curls came out terrible and didn't last past an hour. I sent this back after giving it 5 different tries on 5 different days...what a bummer. Expected way more from the number of stars and other reviews. Not sure what other people are thinking! Or guess many have not tried some of the other brands on the market in comparison.
