Perfect Trading Inc is selling non-US versions of the Garmin Forerunner 935 in the United States. It will not be possible to update to the latest firmware if you get one of the non-US versions, so you will not be able to get the latest features and bug fixes available to US customers. Perfect Trading did agree that I could return the watch. However, I am still leaving a negative review because troubleshooting the issues with this non-US watch cost me a lot of time, and I believe a seller should do this if they sell grey market products in the US: 1) Clearly mark the item as a "grey market" product and say which region it was intended for. 2) Describe the limitations of the grey market product. In this case the latest features and bug fixes will not be available. 3) Explain whether or not the manufacturers warranty is valid for grey market products in the US. I know that some manufacturers do not honor their warranty on grey market products, I'm not sure what Garmin's policy is. I will remove this negative review if Perfect trading clearly marks any non-US products as such.
