Difficulties when wet
I ordered these hoping they would perform in pretty much any weather.
When it is very wet out these matches will not light. (I'm talking pouring, when your hands and all gear is wet)
If you get the striking paper a little wet, forget about lighting the matches.
If the tip of the matches get wet, forget about lighting them, even if you have dry striking paper.
It is true that once the matches are lit you can put them underwater and they'll still burn, while a neat party trick if the conditions are very wet you will have a hard time getting the match lit. I'll still use them as great all purpose matches while camping or in high winds, but if it is really wet you can't rely on these matches.
