After the first transaction of under $20, I get an email saying my account is locked. They don't work weekends, by the way, so no response until I try again the following week. Phone support tells me they need to verify my account and that it'll take a few days. I explained that I got it for a new business that's still getting off the ground and doesn't have any fancy paperwork such as contracts. He said he'll note that on my account. A few days pass and, to my surprise, I get an email asking for exactly the irrelevant documents the phone support said he noted for them not to ask for, ie IRS letters. I'm not sure what their target market is as established businesses will use full sized POS systems and I thought only small upstarts would use something like this. I said not to bother and to close my account, to which I got a thoughtless response that my account was closed. However, I can still log in and see that the account is still open in a locked state and my money is stuck. Further fruitless communication ensued before I gave up trying to reason with them to simply close the account and return my money. So now I have to file disputes with my credit card company for transactions I made myself and small claims court for the rest of the transactions. What an abomination.
