A little heavy, but it can drive 3+ inch nails with ease! I have put well over 1,500 nails through this framing nailer and it has yet to give me a single problem. Just don't be silly and try to shoot a nail at a dangerous angle - especially if you don't know if knot or other obstruction lies under the path of the nail! ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Update 9/23/2017: Do not buy this nailer without the protection plan and especially if the product will be fulfilled by Prime Global Products, Inc.! The plastic trigger plunger holding several different o-rings cracked shortly after my original review. What made me drop this rating to a 1 was the fact that the product was still under warranty. When I contacted the fulfillment organization, they were kind but handled the entire situation extremely poorly. First and foremost, rather than providing information for a local authorized repair company, they sent what they sent me a part they thought was damaged (the black thing)! When I contact them - after making it perfectly clear the part I communicated about (the white plunger with o-rings) is what I needed! Their reply was that they sent the wrong part just in case and that the correct part was on its way. It never showed up! When I contacted them to request that the nailer be sent to them for repairs, their response was that I could mail it back to them at my own expense, which was somewhere in the ballpark of $40-80! Keep in mind that I didn't pay that much more for the nailer when I bought it. Buyer beware!
