Almost impossible to open with thumb alone.
It’s a nice thin knife. Seems well made and fits in shirt pocket nicely.
Now the draw back. Very very difficult to open using the thumb stud. Guess the company didn’t conduct any consumer testing before releasing this product. They would have found this design flaw after the first 5 people. Hard to open seems like common complaint based on the initial narratives from customers. I had high hopes and expectations, but will most likely return this product.
