I was super excited to receive the 17 piece knife set for Christmas. When I opened the box, one of the steak knives was bent at the tip. No biggie. I returned it and received a new box of knives. Fast forward 9 months later and I am slicing an apple with the 7" Santoku (my favorite of the knives) and I hear a loud snap and the blade went FLYING OVER my head and landed about an inch from my dog's face who was about 6 feet behind me. What?!?! And the back of the blade which should be in the handle is all rusted (stainless steel snapped in half) and cut the inside of the hand. I'm so thankful I was the only human in the kitchen and that it barely missed my dog's head. *pictures are attached*
