I wrote the company questioning how to replace the battery. Their answer is below: Thanks for reaching out to us. This battery typically lasts a few years, if it needs to be replaced before then please let us know. Kind regards, Sherrylyn Customer Service, American Lifetime This answer is circumventing the answer as I can only assume that the clock would have to be sent back for replacement or repair by them. This is not acceptable and therefore of very poor design not able to be serviced by customer easily. I would not recommend its purchase.
