While I wanted to love these security cameras, they just aren't suitable for outdoor surveillance. I left the settings on the suggested configuration (not super high resolution) and yet one of the cameras still ran out of batteries after 6 hours. It was pointed at my backyard that hardly has any activity. Maybe it was recording a bird that quickly set off the camera....who knows. The night vision did not work well. A passing car could not be identified, you could only see headlights/taillights. This is not very useful if you want to identify anyone on your property. Very disappointed with this product...this product did NOT live up to my expectations or the product uses outlined on the Arlo website.
