From the time I ordered it, Ring Security System was a nightmare. Started out with Amazon shipping my order after about 10 days of placing the order, then the order was lost. I went directly to Ring and ordered a second system through their website. I got the full setup. I pulled it out of the box, and it tied in with the app very easily. I added the devices and it seemed very straightforward. After I programmed each of the components, I set them up where they would be around the house. That is when I realized the Ring system is junk. It kept losing signal to all of the attachments. I tried moving the base around for better coverage and it would allow different devices to get signal but drop others. I also had keyless door locks that said would work with the base, but the base could never locate them. I also purchased the Ring smart lights. Some of them would turn on and others would not due to being too far from the control hub. After 5 days of giving this system a try and not having any coverage or ability to control my home, I am now sending everything back. A colossal waste of time and energy. Their connection is great as long as everything is within 10 feet of the base. Spend your money elsewhere.
