I ordered the DVD version of this as I live way out in the country and have limited download bandwidth. When I received the package, the DVD has Steam Entertainment Platform on it. Which allowed me to install and put in my Sid Meier Civ V key code so that I could then DOWNLOAD the game. At 1/2 my monthly bandwidth - I'll have to move before I can play the game, or go sit in a coffee shop in a large city before I can actually download the game to play it. Since I've purchased Civ I through IV in the past, I was just looking for some fun downtime. Guess I won't be getting that. I feel they should put some type of information with the description of the DVD version of the game, that you aren't actually getting the game you are just getting access to STEAM so that you can download the game.
