Our dog always wears shoes. We have about 4 different pairs but wanted these specifically for snow as we live on a mountain. I'm so disappointed at just how bad these are. For starters they're NOT weather proof. We've used them 3x & all 3x's our dog has come back with raw, smoking wet, frozen paws. They rub on his toes (including his dewclaw) making them red & painful. I've included 2 pictures to show what a mess his feet were when we came back from a short 30 minute walk. We love Ruffwear & I'm not sure what happened here but we just cannot allow our dog to use these shoes anymore. We urge you to use extreme caution as one could easily end up with a huge vet bill from these. They're dangerous!
