This jack worked great the first time I used it on a suspension replacement for my Honda Accord. The second time I attempted to use it to replace brake pads on a Ford Focus it almost killed me. With the vehicle 2” off the ground the main screw suddenly stripped and sent the car crashing down. I barely got my head and hand out of there - I will never use something like this again. The fender and front bumper of the car is damaged, but that pales in comparison to the panic and danger I put myself in using this. This is not a safe product; please do not use it. I ignored the reviews warning of the danger when I bought this and I was wrong. I went this route thinking it was safer than a bottle jack - it is not. This Torin jack is a timebomb waiting to go off. Other Torin products I own have been great but not this one. Steer clear.
