Two things: 1. I did not receive the item in the product photo - I received one with a pink, oblong heart shaped tip instead. I figured maybe the product photo listed was the old model or something, so I wasn't going to make a fuss about it. 2. The instructions say not to force the spatula into an opening that is too small for it. Okay, that makes sense. So I decided to use this on a foundation bottle that the spatula tip comfortably fit into with room to spare. I managed to get almost all of my leftover foundation out of the bottle, which I was really pleased about. Happy about getting my money's worth out of my expensive foundation, I went to clean off my Every Drop Beauty Spatula. While cleaning it with mild soap and water, I noticed the silicone spatula was ALREADY ripping apart on one side, and the other side now had a shredded appearance (see attached photo). This is just after ONE use, and I was not abrasive with the spatula at all. Plus, like I said - I followed instructions and only put it in a container that the spatula would fit into. I'm so disappointed. --- I told Amazon about what happened, and because Amazon rocks, they refunded me. But I wanted to write a review to let other buyers know about this potentially happening to them too. Is it possible I got a faulty item? Sure. But I'm just going to try a different spatula from a different brand and see if I have better results in terms of tool longevity.
