I was all excited about my stoneware slow cooker. It arrived yesterday and I planned my chili for this evening. I read the instructions. 'Oven safe? YES.... Dishwasher safe? YES.... Countertop safe? YES... Stovetop safe? YES. Let me correct that. Stovetop safe? NOOOOO. I started to seer my beef and within 3 minutes I have a grease fire. See attached pics. Oh well there is 40 bucks down the drain.
