I purchased two of these monitors to use with my Macbook Pro. I use two monitors with my laptop at work and wanted to replicate the setup at home. I was excited when I came across these portable monitors because I could travel with my full set up them too. I've tried seven, yes, SEVEN, different docking stations with these monitors. The only way to get a signal to the monitor is to plug it directly into the laptop. It cannot be routed through any kid of docking station or adapter. If you do, then all you get is a blue screen that says "NO SIGNAL." My Macbook only has two Thunderbolt ports. This means the only way to use both montiors at the same time is to not plug in my Macbook. Obviously supporting two external monitors without charging means I have a very limited amount of time that I can work. If you only want to use one external monitor and/or don't have a limitation issue with your ports, then I'd give these four stars. Given the experience I've had with the seller, I'd definitely say buy at your own risk.
