The grinder stopped working after 15 months of less than normal use. It does not continue to run once the button is activated but rather acts like it’s in a pulse type of mode, much like a food processor might do. Realizing that I was out of the products warranty, I called Mr. Coffee and spoke with a representive who sympathetically offer me two dollars off and free shipping for my next purchase—ha! I requested to speak with a manager and was told that someone would call me back because they were on a lengthy call that was distracting them.. ok? No one called me back. When the grinder is working is does it’s job. It is however very loud and not ideal for grinding coffee early in the morning, unless you want to wake your significant other(s), kids, neighbors, friends, enemies, the dead, etc.
